As a qualified workplace mediator, Matthew helps individuals and organisations navigate conflict, fostering effective communication and preventing the personal and professional costs of deteriorating relationships.
Over the years, he has mediated disputes across various sectors—whether between colleagues, senior managers, neighbours, or at-risk teenagers and their families. His passion lies in offering people a constructive path forward, helping them move past conflict while avoiding emotional and organisational harm.
Matthew is dedicated to creating a safe space where both parties feel heard and can work towards meaningful resolutions. His approach also supports mental health, helping individuals escape the stress and legal challenges that unresolved disputes can create.
Before becoming a mediator, Matthew spent 20 years as a professional cameraman and trained in psychotherapy, a background that continues to shape his mediation practice.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing the piano and spending time with his wife Di, a psychotherapist, and their menagerie of animals.
