Principal Consultant
Laura is a highly experienced psychologist, trainer, and consultant with a background in forensic and organisational psychology. As Principal Consultant at Petros, she plays a key role in research, training, supervision, and strategic consultancy, working across various sectors to support individuals and organisations in complex roles.
Laura’s career began in the Prison Service before expanding into high, medium, and low secure hospital settings, where she gained extensive expertise in mental health, trauma, personality disorders, and serious offending behaviours. She later served as an expert witness and as a Specialist Member of the Parole Board for England and Wales.
Beyond Petros, Laura is the Course Director for the MSc in Forensic Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Partner at Psychology and Psychotherapy Associates UK. She is passionate about ensuring that professionals in demanding environments receive the right support, training, and supervision to thrive.
