Co-creator, Being Human in an AI World

I’ve spent my whole career in marketing, which has been a long one, filled with brands, ideas and the constant challenge of making complex ideas clear. Along the way, I worked closely with Dr Derek Roger, founder of the Challenge of Change, and later with Jo as the UK facilitator. That experience opened my eyes to the power of resilience, and to how people can genuinely shift their behaviour and thrive under pressure.

In recent years, I’ve worked in tech and seen firsthand how AI is reshaping the workplace. It’s exciting, but it also highlights something important: many young people aren’t entering work with the grounding in human skills they need to feel confident, capable and ready to step up.

I’ve always been a connector of dots, and the dots here were impossible to ignore. Resilience, behaviour change, critical thinking, psychological grounding, the rise of AI, and the needs of early-career workers were all pointing in the same direction. When I brought the idea to Jo, it resonated immediately. She’d been hearing the same concerns from her clients.

Being Human in an AI World grew from that shared insight: a belief that young people can thrive when they understand themselves, build confidence in their judgement and learn the human skills technology can’t replace.
It’s a programme built on care, clarity and possibility, and I’m proud to help shape it.
