Modern Slavery
Modern Slavery Statement
At Petros, we are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. We understand the importance of ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our business activities.
Our Business
Petros is a small, not-for-profit organisation providing resilience, mental health, and leadership training. We employ one full-time director and one part-time consultant.
Commitment to Ethical Practices
We are fully committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. We ensure that all our suppliers meet basic ethical standards and are aware of the importance of ethical labour practices.
Due Diligence
As part of our commitment to preventing modern slavery, we carry out due diligence on our suppliers. We monitor the business activities of our key suppliers to make sure they align with our standards for ethical practices.
Training and Awareness
We ensure that both employees and contractors understand the risks of modern slavery. While training is minimal due to the size of our business, we are committed to staying informed and proactive about identifying and preventing these risks.
Reporting and Accountability
We have an open-door policy and encourage anyone with concerns to report them to the director. All concerns will be taken seriously, and appropriate action will be taken.
Continuous Improvement
Petros is dedicated to reviewing and improving our practices to ensure we continue to prevent modern slavery in our operations and supply chain.
